The CAA offers a variety of art and craft courses for children, teens and adults. From drawing to quilt making to dramatic performance, all classes are hands-on and fun!

Instructor: Pam Litchfield. In this popular drop-off class, your child will experience the excitement of discovering their creativity through the use of line, shape, texture, color and pattern. Fine and gross motor skills will be exercised through instruction in drawing and painting. All materials included.

Instructor: Becky Shander. In this drop in class students will learn a different technique and make a different project each class. Students will make altered journals, art dolls, jewelry, ornaments, Artist Trading Cards, to name a few. Students can attend one or all of the classes. All materials included. In this drop off class singing, musical games, movement and rhythm are turned into a developmental learning experience for young children. Children will sing along with an acoustic guitar, play various rhythmic instruments and write simple songs together.

Instructor : Kate Heyd and Sandra Livis In this eight week course students will explore the artistic styles of famous artists. Children will paint, sculpt, draw or collage their own unique work of art using the techniques and materials of many famous artist such as Matisse, Picasso, Monet, Rodin, Carle and Pollock.

Instructor: Polly Brown. Writing as another person--imagining someone else's life, speaking from his or her point of view--you take some risks. You could misunderstand; you could misrepresent. On the other hand, you'll be practicing exactly the acts of imagination that we all need, always, in order to love each other or even just to share a world. Come write persona poems, with attention to both the form of the poems and that leap of imagination that lets a poem.
