In this popular drop-off class, your child will experience the excitement of discovering their creativity through the use of line, shape, texture, color and pattern. Fine and gross motor skills will be exercised through instruction through drawing and painting.

Real and Imaginary Landscapes

Kids Mixed Media
Ages 7-9

Using a variety of materials, we will create landscapes that remind us of what we see outside and exciting new places we dream up. We will learn how to use color, create depth and space in a picture, how to show off the most important things and how to draw from observation and imagination.

"Eye on Nature" Mixed Media for Kids

Ages 10-13

Drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, paper sculpture and more! Like art detectives, we will look carefully for lines colors, shapes, textures and patterns in nature. From what you see, you will get new ideas and then add your imagination to create awesome artwork. Each class will explore different materials and colorful fun projects to make.

Watercolor Play for Teens/Adults

Even if you have never taken an art class before, this class will help you find the artist inside you! In a fun, relaxed studio setting we will explore watercolor techniques using a variety of materials with the goal of becoming comfortable trying new things. We?ll learn to use color, wash, wet on wet, layering, glazing and masking. Just to experiment, we?ll throw a little salt into the paint to see what happens. Students will be encouraged to express their unique ideas through imagination and to experience that joyful feeling of wet paint gliding across paper.

How to Take Great Family Portraits

Instructor: Jill Kurzontkowski of Strut Photography
   6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

In this 3 day/ 2 hour seminar, you will be taught how to approach taking beautiful photographs of your family using composition, lighting & professional trade secrets. We will review work and gain insight into how professionals are able to obtain gorgeous photos of kids. Must have an SLR camera.
