Alter Ego is a group of seven Boston-area musicians, singers and songwriters with day jobs who initially came together in order to get out of the house and make music again. It soon became apparent that there was something special and musically intriguing that was happening whenever we played. Vocal harmonies and arrangements fell into place quickly and it turned out to be a really easygoing and fun group of people to hang out and play with.
Their current repertoire is a mix of melodic originals and covers of songs by other artists. Stylistically, their music ranges from alt-country to folk to low-volume rock/pop.
